Now I don’t want to play the fool anymore
Us jesters never get dealt a fair hand in court
Im growing quite weary from singing your blues for you
So restless and TIRED of breaking in your shoes
We have walked for miles, tattered our bones on jagged stones
At the end I see light but deep inside still feel alone
Because the darkness of your heart can shadow out this whole world
Dissipate into the black hole your inhumanities’ unfurled
Now there’s no hope for life. There is no hope for peace
There is no truth in freedom in our modern society
There is no chance to prosper no real since of community
Unless we change within ourselves then we’re all part of the disease
You know I don’t want to be the portrait of blame
But time and time again open minds are mistook for insane
all the prevalent voices from the present and the past
in there time mocked and shunned but still their efforts outlast
controlled media’s nature to label as radical thought
its discerning just how many civilians beliefs can be bought
so as useless as it seams until im taken by force
ill sing truth from the bottom of my heart to the top of my vocal chords
Now there’s no hope for life. There is no hope for peace
There is no truth in freedom in our modern society
There is no chance to prosper no real since of community
Unless we change within ourselves then we’re all part of the disease
